Day 45 of 90 | Health and Wellness

Research Topic

How you perceive your body, body size misperception,  affects a growing percentage of the population. The current research states that people underestimate their body size.


People have a body image in their mental perception that may misrepresent their body size when they describe themselves. Their health coaches must take this into consideration in the management of their client's health and wellness.

NOTE

I'm keeping track of what I'm doing on the detox and now how I see my body. I know if I exercise, my body tones up and that I'm losing fat but today was the first day during this POC that I've noticed a serious change in my body.    


During the POC of the wellness detox, I've been wearing technical clothing to avoid having my clothing dictate when I end the detox.  I did not want to say, I fit in my pre-covid jeans so my body is OK. 

My focus for the 90 day detox has been the adipose layer of fat on my abdominal area that visually states my percentage of body fat.  When my abdominal muscles are showing, I will know the detox has worked.

Wellness Detox Statement


Declaration - My body perception will not be dictated by vanity clothing sizes and stretch materials.

Focus - My body perception is dictated by healthy muscle definition and agility
