Body Fat - Conversion to Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen then Expelled From the Body
In a global news article, the scientist from New South Wales have stated that fat when burned by the body turns into carbon dioxide and oxygen.
The scientists state that carbon atoms we exhale comes from some source, either your meals or your fat reserves.
If you put less carbon atoms back into your body than you exhale, you lose weight. If you put in more, you gain weight.
When the fat cells release the content of a cell, the cells release various substances including lipids and triglycerides into the body which are then used to create energy. This process releases water and carbon.
The created carbon dioxide is released from the body through the respiratory system or the skin which releases or absorbs one to two percent of the oxygen needed by the body.
One of the benefits of exercise is the release of toxins through the respiratory system and the skin. The toxins released through exercise have the opportunity to leave through the lungs, the nose and the pores of our skin and even through ear wax.
