Detox Day 41 | Recovering from Food Poisoning |

  • 20 Minute Commute
  • Breakfast - egg, coffee, tea
  • workout - low to moderate intensity
We are recovering today from a bit of food poisoning that happened two days ago. We are  taking it a bit easier than normal for a few days.  We are resting a bit, keeping the foods, avoiding caffeine, dairy and excessive spices.

There are all kinds of germs and toxins that cause food poisoning.  A few are:

  • Campylobacter jejuni
  • Cholera
  • E coli
  • Toxins in spoiled or tainted fish or shellfish
  • Staphylococcus aureus
  • Salmonella
  • Shigella
  • Yersinia
I don't know what caused my illness yesterday but I'm letting my digestive system rest.
