Your Body's Memory for Reset

For more than a year we have been living with the Crazy Eight Detox Standard while proving concept for Health Storey.   Since January, we have been working on a Trip to Mars maintenance program and finding it easy to return to our normal routines because of our bodies ability to remember past routines.  this process of remembering through repetition is called procedural memory.  

Through procedural memory we are resetting our routines after being away on vacation for a few weeks.  By returning to our everyday routines set into our life by the Crazy Eight Detox, our week has been full of small changes that remove vacation mode and reset our everyday health style.

For Day one we are doing the following:
  • Eating our normal breakfast without coffee (We need a new coffee machine)
  • Going to the gym to work on our muscle strength.
  • Eating vegetarian. Going to the grocery store for water and produce for the day.
  • We eat two meals a day.  We begin our day with breakfast at 4am and then eat lunch around noon. For the rest of the day, we are drinking lemonade / ice tea / iced coffee.
Because we moved to Los Angeles without bringing anything from London, we are furnishing a new apartment and will add essentials each month. 

The routines we have on hold for a month include:

  • Using the Destabilizer ($150) for core strength and leg strength.
  • Morning Coffee
  • Standing while writing and researching (Need to purchase standing desk)
