 Detoxing and Keeping Busy


Day two of 14 of a detox reset.  Keeping Busy while resetting after a vacation.

1. Make sure that everything you need for your meals is in your kitchen.  Check your kitchen inventory.

I bought coffee with sugar included and it was not enough sugar so I did not drink all of my morning coffee.  Today I will go and get sugar cubes if I can find them.  (They were missing from the stores I visited yesterday in a suburb of LA.)

I need to buy an additional coffee cup.  I just moved to Los Angeles and I have a cup for tea and I used it for coffee and this is not pure happiness.  I am going to look downtown for a coffee cup today.  Coffee cups at target cost around 8 dollars. 

2. For the Detox, we eat rice.  We use a specific rice and it was requested that we rinse the rice in the Asian method so I rinsed rice this morning and then cooked the rice.  Tasted great.  Don't be afraid to eat rice for breakfast.  It take the same amount of time to prepare as porridge on the stove.

3. Do things at work that need to get done but are not major projects.  Clean up your work life.   Today I'm working on adding two websites for Health Storey having to do with the US market.  The domains are healthstoreyusa.com and healthstoreyonline.com.   Both of the domains are part of the health coaching program.  I have to get them started and that is the project I'm working on when I get back from shopping for a coffee cup and sugar cubes.

4. Personal life.  Part of my detox routine, going to the gym, has to wait two weeks. I purchased a membership for a gym near my apartment and not my temporary location.  To keep active, I am walking to the grocery store and today I will walk around looking for a coffee cup and go to the grocery store.  All my calories at the moment are through NEAT activities.
