Welcome to day three of our detox reset! Today, we’re focusing on two important aspects: nourishing our bodies and managing our finances. 

For breakfast and lunch, I'm enjoying a bowl of rice. Rice is a great source of energy, and it’s easy to prepare and perfect for my current budget. Did you know that rice is a staple food for over half of the world's population? It’s versatile and works well for healthy detoxing.

Today's Goal: The Hunt for a Microphone

Today, we’re on a mission to find a microphone somewhere in LA. Whether it’s for work or a hobby, having the right tools is essential. Before you head out, check online for prices and set a budget. This way, you won’t overspend and can stick to your financial goals while buying work or hobby related equipment.

Remember, there’s a microphone in the inventory located in London.  This is an asset but is not available so don’t dwell on the obstacle. Instead, focus on what you can find today that fits into the budget and accomplished the task for work.  Every new inventory needs to be budgeted, dont throw yourself into financial stress during a detox reset!   

Budgeting for Your Purchase

As you plan Today's purchase, think about where it fits into your work or personal finance plan. During Health Storey’s relocation to LA, we’ve added a second rice steamer, tea kettle, and coffee cup to our Proof of Concept budget. These items are necessary for our current detox, and budgeting for them helps keep our finances in check.

While I'm out hunting for a microphone, I will enjoy seeing a new part of LA.  Remember to enjoy the process of running an errand. Finding something you need can be exciting and fulfilling. Plus, it’s a great way to practice self-study and stay mindful of your spending, your budget and your inventory.
