Week 1: Embrace the Flavors

Day 1: Roasted Chicken with Potatoes

Ingredients:

- Roasted chicken

- 4 medium potatoes, chopped

- Olive oil, salt, and pepper

- Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

3. Toss chopped potatoes with olive oil, salt, and herbs into a pan with some roasted chicken.

4. Roast until the potatoes are perfect.

Day 2: Pretzel Bread

Ingredients:

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 packet active dry yeast

1 cup warm water

1 tablespoon sugar

1/4 cup baking soda

Coarse salt for topping

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

2. Add flour and knead until smooth. Let it rise for 1 hour.

3. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Shape the dough into pretzels.

4. Boil pretzels in a baking soda solution for 30 seconds, then bake for 12-15 minutes.

Note:  This recipe will require a bit of patience.  You might be able to buy frozen pretzels at the store.

Day 3: Potato Salad

Ingredients:

- 4 medium potatoes, boiled and diced

- 1/2 cup diced onions

- 1/2 cup diced pickles

- 1/4 cup mayonnaise

- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, combine the potatoes, onions, and pickles.

2. Mix in mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. Chill before serving.

Day 4: Radler Day!

Enjoy a refreshing radler made with half beer and half lemonade. This drink is perfect for a little treat during your detox!

Walk Each Day of the Detoxification

Make sure to walk for three hours each day. You can break it down into:

Day 10: Pretzel Bites

Use pretzel dough to make bite-sized pretzel bites.

Day 11: Radler Day!
