What is a Recovery Wellness Detox
A recovery detox is a structured approach to cleanse your body of toxins, reset your eating habits, and promote overall well-being. It typically involves eliminating processed foods, sugar, and unhealthy fats while focusing on whole, nutrient-dense foods. The goal is to nourish your body, improve digestion, boost energy levels, and cultivate a healthier mindset.
How to Structure your 21 Day Recovery Detox
Set the foundation for your detox for the 21 days. Set the timeline for letting go of each of the foods you added during your vacation and add back in what you were eating before you left for vacation.
Set a routine to get yourself back on track with healthy eating. Focus on your healthy living and healthy eating goals.
For Getting Rid of Donuts, we have a small A5 notebook and we are going to write down the changes we make each day. For our vacation, we ate local foods and did not visit the gym. Now that we are back at work, we are adding back the gym and keeping track of our food choices to eliminate the eight pounds of vacation bloating from living a vacation lifestyle.
Because our detoxes start with rice, we will eat rice and remove bread and carbonated water from our everyday diet and eat vegetarian.
